A FORMER World Darts finalist brutally snubbed his opponent’s attempt at a fist bump.
The awkward encounter happened in the preliminary rounds of the 2026 Winmau World Masters.

Adam Warner and Mervyn King clashed in an epic battle on Thursday.
But as they went into a deciding leg of darts, they fumbled their lines in hilarious scenes.
As the pair prepared to do battle, Warner made a clumsy attempt at a fist bump.
However, King didn’t seem interested in reciprocating the gesture.

He instead wound his hands in a circle to indicate getting the game started.
And Warner begrudgingly backed down from the failed bump.
Fans were quick to react to the bizarre scenes on social media.
One said: “Mervyn King doesn’t do fist bumps.”

Another declared: “What a bloke.”
One noted: “Was not the last leg.”
Another added: “Well in Merv.”
Unfortunately for King, he ended up losing his match to Warner 3-2.
King then took on Beau Greaves but again was defeated 3-2.
The 59-year-old is currently ranked 110th and famously reached two BDO World Darts Championship finals in 2002 and 2004.
