Jamaican Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard had a near perfect day to lead her West Coast Fever to a 17-point win over the Melbourne Mavericks in Suncorp Super Netball action at the RAC Arena in Perth on Saturday.
The Fever enjoyed a good start to the contest, leading 22-14 after the first period before winning the second quarter 16-15 to lead 38-29 at halftime.
They had a similar performance to the first quarter in the third, winning 21-13 to all but seal victory while the fourth quarter was tied 19-19, with the Fever taking the 78-61 victory.
Fowler-Nembhard was her usual awesome self, converting 60 of her 61 attempts at goal while countrywoman Shanice Beckford had six goals and eight assists.
