AARON CHALMERS has hinted he is set to fight former world champion boxer Kell Brook this year.
The former Geordie Shore star is 2-1 inside a boxing ring and at 38-years-old, Brook would be by far his most difficult opponent to date.
Special K has not fought since dispatching then-bitter rival Amir Khan in 2022, but at 39 he is hardly way past it, certainly compared to Chalmers’ pedigree.
Chalmers shared a promotional poster for the fight on social media.
The post simply states the fight is on, not when it is or where.
Brook reigned as welterweight champion for three years and the three losses all came against top quality operators in Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr and Gennady Golovkin.

Chalmers fought twice in 2025 in Conor McGregor’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and won both bouts via KO – even if his second bout was against a Love Island contestent.
Brook had toyed with the idea of competing again after defeating Khan but a slew of personal issues hindered him.
Former rival Khan told SunSport how Brook has managed to get his life back on track.
He told SunSport: “I obviously send Kell messages here and there, like good luck and stuff like that.
“I was supposed to see him when he was over here for the press conference but when he’s at the fight, I’d like to go and support him.

“I wish him all the very best. It’s great because, I know how hard it is when your hands get itchy when you’re at home being retired.
“I mean, I’ve kept myself busy because I do a lot of charity work and I do a lot of other work that keeps me busy.
“But Kell is more of a laid back guy, so he’s missing boxing. I think he’ll do well coming back.
“Obviously he’s had a nice little break and mentally as well and physically I’m sure he seems like he’s got his life sorted as well.”
Brook already had three-daughters with ex-wife Lindsay, but now he has just welcomed a son, Ezerra Ray, into the world with another former world champion boxer, Ebanie Bridges.
Khan said: “He seems very happy to me. He’s like a new person, so I wish him all the very best, honestly.
“We never really looked eye to eye back in the day when we were fighting each other – when we were both boxing – but I just want to say he’s a nice guy.
“When you get to know him, he’s a nice lad and I wish him all the very best as well.”
