The Grenada Football Association (GFA) successfully concluded the FIFA Elite Coaches’ Workshop, on Thursday, 17 July at the FA Secretariat.
This intensive 4-day programme marked a significant step in the continuous professional development of football coaches across the island.
The workshop, designed to lift coaching standards and foster advanced tactical understanding amongst Grenadian football educators, was facilitated by a team of FIFA technical experts. Leading the sessions were Callum Irving, FIFA Lead of Learning Exchange; Simon Jennings, FIFA Technical Expert; and Margret Kratz, FIFA Technical Expert. The entire workshop was overseen by Ian Greenwood, FIFA Regional Technical Consultant, ensuring the highest standards of delivery and engagement.
Participants, comprising coaches from various levels of Grenadian football, engaged in a comprehensive curriculum covering modern coaching methodologies, player development strategies, and high-performance principles. The interactive sessions provided invaluable insights, practical tools, and a global perspective on football coaching.
