The Grenada National Sports Council (GNSC) will hold the 3rd annual workshop to develop the national sports calendar of associations and other stakeholders on Thursday, 18 September 2025, at 9 am at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium.
The session will review calendar submissions to prevent scheduling conflicts and encourage collaboration among the association and other stakeholders in setting their event dates for 2026. Importantly, participants will provide updates on achievements from January to August 2025 and outline plans for the remainder of the year. Several other important issues will be discussed, including IP in sports, national club registration, and announcements of the Grenada Games 2027.
Alvin Clouden, Chief Executive Officer of the GNSC, emphasised the importance of collective planning of the national, regional, and international sports calendar. “This session is about working together to strengthen our national sports calendar, avoid conflicts, and maximise opportunities for our athletes and associations. Collaboration is the foundation of growth, and the GNSC is committed to inclusiveness, accountability, and innovation in driving sports forward.”
