As the Caribbean’s brightest young athletes prepare to take the stage at the CARIFTA Games in the Spice Island, Grenlec is stepping forward once again, partnering with the Grenada Athletics Association (GAA) and others to support an event that continues to shape the region’s sporting legacy.
This partnership builds on a strong history of collaboration between Grenlec and the GAA, united by a shared commitment to youth development and national pride.
With over 30 years of investment in community development, education, sport and culture, the Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative (GCPI) sees this collaboration as a meaningful way to continue empowering young people across the region.
Representing Grenlec at the presentation ceremony for Team CARIFTA Grenada, Eric Williams said, “We firmly believe that sport is one of the avenues for us to shape well-rounded, confident and resilient citizens. Our longstanding relationship with the Grenada Athletics Association is one we value greatly. That the CARIFTA Games have returned to our shores so quickly is a credit to our association.”
As excitement builds for the games, the Grenlec family extends best wishes to all the teams and supporters visiting from other islands, the GAA and organising team and our own CARIFTA Team Grenada.
