IT’s no secret Celtic are in the market for a striker his month.
Top of Wilfried Nancy’s – and now Martin O’Neill‘s – transfer wishlist for January would be a new centre-forward.

Kelechi Iheanacho has struggled to stay fit, Johnny Kenny has blown hot and cold, while Daizen Maeda‘s best performances have come when played out wide.
SunSport revealed today that the Hoops ARE exploring a stunning potential return for Kyogo Furuhashi.
But another option for Celtic could be ex-West Ham, Newcastle and Bournemouth front man Callum Wilson.
The 33-year-old former England international was on a pay-as-you-play deal at the London Stadium but he is now in talks with the Hammers about terminating his contract.

One man who’d love to see him at Parkhead is Hoops hero Alan Stubbs.
And he insists that O’Neill would be the perfect person to get the most out of him in his twilight years.
Not only that, he believes Wilson would immediately become the BEST striker in Scotland.
Speaking to the Daily Record, he said: “I think he’s quality, there’s no doubt he’s quality. If Celtic were to get Wilson, and he is playing to the levels that he can be, he’s the best striker in Scotland.
“There’s no doubt about that. I know he’s been on a pay-per-play contract at West Ham, and that’s gone.
“To be honest, a six-month contract at Celtic at the end of the season, for me, is not a gamble.
“He’s somebody who knows he can score goals. He probably fits the profile of a player that Martin seems to get the best out of as well.
“Martin will have in his head a profile of certain positions, what he’s expecting from it.”
Stubbs also hopes Celtic ditch their usual transfer policy of focusing mostly on younger players with potential for a sell-on fee and instead take the plunge on Wilson who is “tried and tested”.
He said: “I really do think Celtic have to go back to not taking gambles. Obviously their policy is to try and bring them young, make them sellable assets, and then they move on for significant amounts of money.
“Right at this moment in time, I honestly believe that Celtic need to go for tried and tested.”
