TEMPLEGATE takes on Wednesday’s racing confident of building the bank for a monster weekend of action.

SHABALKO D’HERM (3.00 Bangor, nap)
Can strike again for the Twiston-Davies team. This five-year-old was bought for £140,000 after winning an Irish point-to-point and looked a natural over hurdles when winning on debut by 12 lengths at Uttoxeter last time out. He absolutely tanked along and jumped well so a 7lb penalty shouldn’t put the brakes on today.
FRESH AS A DAISY (3.30 Bangor, nb)
Is another who impressed when striking on her hurdles bow at Uttoxeter last time out. She managed to win comfortably despite a poor jump at the last and can take a fair step forward with that under her belt.
JOYEUSE (1.30 Bangor, treble)
Achieved plenty over hurdles last season, including a big handicap win at Newbury before finishing sixth in the Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham. She has always looked a chasing type and we get our first look today.
THE HATCHET (3.20 Ayr, Lucky 15)
Got off the mark on his hurdling debut at Perth in September with a bit left in the tank. He kept it simple from the front over this trip and can pull off the same tactics again.
