COULDBEAWEAPON (1.38 Newcastle, nap)
Can fire again for in-form trainer Sam England. This eight-year-old has scored at Southwell and Sedgefield where he had an impressive 17 lengths in hand last time out 11 days ago. If you get 2m5f around that sapping track you should have no problem seeing out a bit further here especially on what should be decent ground. He’s back from the same mark and gets on well with today’s 3lb claiming rider.
VON KROLOCK (8.30 Southwell, nb)
Has moved to the James Owen horse-improving factory and can take a step forward. He ran well at Naas earlier this season and is 1lb below that mark today.
HOSTILE HOTELIER (3.08 Newcastle, treble)
Is on a roll with a win and two seconds from his past three runs. He can strike again back hurdling.
PANTILE’S GIFT (1.25 Bath, Lucky 15)
Most read in Horse Racing
Was beaten a head here last time going from the front and has every chance again with that run under his belt.
