TEMPLEGATE’S picks for Monday’s racing are below.

JACKPOT D’AINAY (2.48 Carlisle, nap)
Can land another success for the all-conquering team of Olly Murphy and champion jockey Sean Bowen. They have a good chance with this six-year-old who landed a novice win at Market Rasen before shaping well on handicap debut when third at Sandown. We didn’t see him again after that February effort but Murphy has a good record of getting horses to deliver on comeback and he’s bred to stay so Carlisle’s stamina test should be right up his street.
THE WIDDOW MAKER (1.15 Carlisle, nb)
Showed lots of promise when third on comeback at Stratford 11 days ago. He travelled nicely before getting tired in the closing stages and should come on for the run. The Tizzard horses have made an excellent start to the season and this veteran can take a step forward today.
TURNDLIGHTSDOWNLOW (2.00 Kempton, treble)
He won by 11 lengths on handicap debut over course and distance last month and a repeat would do the trick.
SHANTWOPOINTFIVE (3.05 Kempton, Lucky 15)
Has done well over hurdles and had plenty in hand at Cartmel last time. She has scope to make a nice chaser and she’s already proven over this distance.
