COULD this finally be the season?
With Liverpool struggling and Manchester City not quite at their best, Arsenal find themselves considered favourites to win the Premier League title.
Should they manage to do so, the Gunners will end a 22-year wait for the iconic trophy.
They last won it at the end of the 2003-04 season in historic fashion.
Under legendary boss Arsene Wenger, Arsenal became the first – and still the only – club to win the league without losing a single match.
The Gunners managed 26 wins and 12 draws that campaign, resulting in 90 points.

Despite having lost one game already this term, they could still potentially rack up an impressive points tally come May.
With nine games played, Arsenal have a better win percentage (78%) compared to the 2003-04 campaign (68%) with less goals conceded on average.
During the 2003-04 season, the North London side let in 0.7 goals per game on average, while this term they have conceded just 0.3 – which comes after a faultless October.
They have also faced fewer shots per game this season (8) compared to the Invincible campaign (9.9).

But with that, Arsenal have narrowly scored less goals per game – 1.8 compared to 1.9 on average in the 2003-04 season.
Despite the differences in goals scored and conceded, at this point in the season, the points-per-game ratio is the same now as it was 22 years ago.
The Gunners currently sit top of the Premier League table with 22 points from nine games.
Four points separate them and second-place Bournemouth – with five coming between them and Tottenham and six between them and the two Manchester clubs.
Meanwhile, reigning champions Liverpool have fallen seven points back after losing FOUR matches in a row.
