DANNY ROHL is poised to be named new Rangers boss.
SunSport last night exclusively broke the shock news that the German was back in the frame to take charge at Ibrox.

And the ex-Sheffield Wednesday gaffer is now on the verge of being appointed as Russell Martin’s replacement with an official announcement believed to be imminent.
Rohl, 36, held talks with chairman Andrew Cavenagh in a London meeting nine days ago.
But he then backed away from discussions when it emerged Kevin Muscat had replaced Steven Gerrard as the frontrunner for the job.
It was only after negotiations with the Shanghai Port manager collapsed over the weekend that Rohl was back in contention.
Our exclusive story stunned Light Blues supporters who have been hugely unimpressed with the way US-based Cavenagh has led the managerial recruitment process.
Chief Executive Patrick Stewart and Sporting Director Kevin Thelwell have been under fire in recent weeks with angry supporters demanding they get axed.
The club’s failure to seal a deal for Muscat only intensified the scrutiny they’ve been been under.
And the appointment of Rohl will heap more pressure on the pair who were both heckled by furious fans during the 2-2 draw with Dundee United on Saturday.
But the former Bayern Munich and Germany national team coach has been desperate to land the job and was willing to re-enter negotiations when it became clear Muscat’s deal was stalling.
The appointment is poised to be done in time for Rangers’ next game, Thursday’s Europa League clash with Brann in Norway.
The relatively young coach had two years at Hillsborough and in a recent interview Owls skipper Barry Bannan told SunSport he would be a perfect appointment for Gers.
The former Scotland star said: “He can definitely make an immediate impact.
“He’s such a passionate guy that I’ve got no doubt he’ll go in there and gee that changing room up straight away.
“The gaffer wears his heart on his sleeve.
“He also gets involved in the game from the touchline, which the Rangers supporters will probably like.
“But one of the things he wants is fans who are passionate because that’s what he’s like.
“I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago and he told me he’d been to America to have a look around some teams over there.
“He talked about how the set-up was fantastic and the facilities were terrific – but the passion wasn’t there in the States.
“Our fans took to him straight away and really loved him and I think it would be the same at Rangers.
“If he’s appointed, I definitely think he’ll go in there and get results right away.
“For me, he’s up gather with the very best I’ve worked with during my career.

“I know Glasgow can be a difficult environment because of the expectation at the Old Firm.
“But I would expect him to really hit the ground running because he’s the type of man people respond to.”
