GRAHAM POTTER has left fans stunned after speaking fluent Swedish as he was unveiled as Sweden’s new boss.
Just 24 days after he was sacked by West Ham, Potter was announced as the new manager of the Sweden national team on Monday morning.

Potter – whose contract runs for the duration of the nation’s 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign – was then unveiled at a press conference later on.
And in a clip shared to social media, the 50-year-old left fans stunned as he spoke fluent Swedish.
The Englishman spent seven seasons honing his managerial craft with Swedish outfit Ostersund between 2010 and 2018.
He took the club from the Swedish fourth tier to the Swedish top flight, Allsvenskan, for the first time in their history.

They famously went on to beat Arsenal at the Emirates in 2018 during their maiden season in Europe after their first ever Swedish Cup victory.
He then found his way to English football with Swansea before Brighton picked him up in 2019.
Potter then joined Chelsea in 2022 but flopped in the job with just 12 wins in 31 games.
West Ham came calling in January of this year, but his time there also ended on a sour note after just six wins in 25 games.

During the latter stages of his Hammers reign, Potter became the subject of a viral meme whereby fans would swap his face on to another person, often a celebrity.
The meme became so widespread that many fans admitted they had started to have difficulty knowing which was a real Potter photo.
And one fan reacting to his Sweden unveiling said: “West Ham fans have to stop doing face swaps man I almost believed this is Potter.”
A second fan joked: “Who knew Potter’s real job was that of a gifted translator.”
Another said: “What’s Swedish for, ‘It is what it is’?”
A fourth added: “The accent is pretty impressive.”
Potter will manage Sweden for the first time next month in crunch qualifiers against Switzerland and Slovenia.
The Blue and Yellows are rock bottom of their World Cup qualifying group after just one point from four games.
Sweden now cannot qualify automatically by winning their group, but can still make a playoff next spring if they win both games and Kosovo lose their final two games.
Speaking on his appointment, Potter said: “Together with the players, I want to make the fans’ dream of a championship summer come true.
