ISLAM CHESNOKOV has broken his silence on his proposed January move to Hearts.
And it’s fair to say his comments have done little to clear up the uncertainty surrounding the switch to Gorgie.

Hearts announced a pre-contract deal with Chesnokov earlier this year and the Kazakhstan international is due to link up with the Scottish Premiership next month ahead of being registered to play in January.
His impending arrival from FC Tobol was referenced in comments made by Jambos chief executive Andrew McKinlay last month.
Last week, however, doubts over Chesnokov’s move to Hearts arose.
Reports in Kazakhstan claimed the 25-year old was having second thoughts having received lucrative offers from his homeland and Russia.
Those reports claimed the deal was on brink of collapsing.
However, SunSport revealed how Hearts remained confident that the deal would go through as planned.
Tynecastle boss Derek McInnes also revealed he didn’t expect any issues with the signing.
Chesnokov’s deal with his previous club has now expired with the domestic season in Kazakhstan having ended at the end of October.
Now away with the national team, the player himself has now broken his silence on the rather odd situation.
But it’s fair to say his comments haven’t really cleared anything up regarding his move to Hearts.
Instead, Chesnokov has dropped some rather cryptic comments and claimed that “everything will become clear.”
The winger neither confirmed or denied any of the reports relating to his proposed transfer to Hearts.
He said: “It’s tough, the season is over. We’ve already been on vacation somewhere.
“Now we need to get ourselves together and perform at our best. Then we can have a rest.
“As for Scotland, there’s a lot being written and said. Some are even bringing up family.
“Everything will become clear soon.”
Hearts headed into the international break with a seven-point lead at the top of the table.
