BRAZIL legend Ronaldo yesterday welcomed the World Cup rematch with Scotland.
The striker played in the opening game of France ’98 when Brazil won 2-1 at the Stade de France in Paris.
Ronaldo was speaking as Fifa revealed Scotland will face Haiti and Morocco in Boston — and end their group games against Brazil in Miami.
He said: “It’s a tough group but I think we should be OK.
“Scotland is always a tough match but we play at 6pm local time so the timing is good for Brazil. It’s a good draw. It’s going to be beautiful.”
Steve Clarke’s side will kick off their Group C campaign against Haiti at 2am UK time on June 14.

It will take place in the 65,000-capacity Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots NFL team. It will be rebranded as The Boston Stadium for the finals.
The next game against Morocco will take place at the same venue at 11pm UK time six days later.
Scotland then round off their campaign with an 11pm kick-off against Brazil in the sweltering heat of Miami on June 24.
Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium is home to the Miami Dolphins and will be known as The Miami Stadium. It also has a 65,000 capacity.
The tie with Carlo Ancelotti’s Samba stars could have taken place in Atlanta, where there is a retractable roof and a chance of cooler playing conditions.
But Clarke’s side will have to battle the searing temperatures as well as the five-time winners.
With all games having water breaks, it means clashes will last well over the two-hour mark.
The Brazilians were last night feuding before a ball has been kicked.
World Cup winner Roque Junior demanded his country unleash Tartan Army hate figure Neymar on Scotland.
Ancelotti was quizzed after the draw about whether the 33-year-old would be part of his plans. He hasn’t featured at all since Ancelotti took charge and it seemed his Brazil career would end at 128 appearances.
But the former Real Madrid boss has stressed that if the Santos talisman proves his fitness, he will be in the squad.
Roque Junior reckons it’s a no-brainer and said: “If Neymar is fit he should be at the World Cup.
“I don’t think there’s any other player in the Brazil team today with the skill he has.”
Neymar would come in for some harsh treatment from the Tartan Army, who recall a disgraceful incident from the last time Scotland played Brazil in 2011 in London.
Neymar netted a double at the Emirates in a 2-0 win but accused Scottish fans of throwing a banana at him and complained about being booed by the Tartan Army.
It was later proved a German youth threw the fruit and the SFA demanded an apology.
