BRENDAN RODGERS has been tipped for a quick return to the dugout despite his messy Celtic exit.
The Northern Irishman resigned from the Hoops and has been temporarily replaced by Martin O’Neill.
Rodgers, 52, quit after previously hitting out at the club’s transfer activity and falling further behind Hearts in the title race.
Club owner Dermot Desmond has since hit out at the former Liverpool and Leicester City manager.
He has dubbed Rodgers as “self-serving” and “toxic” during his time at Celtic.
But Rodgers could soon be back managing from the sidelines according to talkSPORT.

KEANE FOR IT?
Keane tipped for ‘tough’ return to management alongside ex-Man Utd team-mate
The report claims that he would be the top choice at the Molineux Stadium should Wolves sack Vítor Pereira.
The Portuguese manager has found himself under pressure in the West Midlands after a winless start to the Premier League season.
Wolves have played nine league games this season – losing seven and drawing two.
They were then dumped out of the Carabao Cup earlier this week by Chelsea in a 4-3 thriller.

The report has also suggested the Crystal Palace and Bournemouth and Fulham are all keeping tabs.
They could all be on the hunt for a new manager in the summer with the contracts of Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva all expiring.
Despite this talkSPORT radio star and former footballer Alan Brazil believes he could be off further afield.
Brazil, 66, is tipping Rodgers to jet off to the Middle East and land a job in Saudi Arabia.
He even claimed he had been “told” it is a likely destination for the manager.
He said: “Well, Brendan might just find himself driving a Bentley convertible soon, because from what I hear, he’s heading to Saudi.
“That’s the rumour.
