Jaeda Pigott has qualified for the final of the Girls 800 metres Under-17 event at the CARIFTA Games, advancing from Heat 2 of the preliminary round after finishing second with a time of 2:18.03.
The 15-year-old settled into sixth position through the first lap, recording a split of 1:07.60, before closing strongly in 1:10.44 to cross second in her heat and secure automatic qualification for the final.
