Just two weeks removed from his record-breaking performance at the recent Tyson Invitational, Caymanian sprinter Jaiden Reid has made more history for his school and country, this time during the SEC Indoor Championships.
The sophomore year at Louisiana State University touch down at the Texas A&M at the Fasken Indoor Track & Field Facility, where he finished 200-metre final in spectacular fashion.
Reid finished second in his heat and third overall on the day to earn bronze with a stellar personal best time of 20.27 seconds – shaving .45 seconds off of his performance just two weeks prior.
His new best time ranks second in LSU performance-list history, fourth in the US and fifth in the world.
Reid also competed in the 60m, finishing fifth with a time of 6.58 seconds.
Reid will now turn his focus on the NCAA Championships this week, 14-15 March.
