Jets and Pytonz were triumphant last Saturday evening in Round Two of the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association, winning their encounters in both the Women’s and Men’s Divisions.
The Jets secured a victory over Stoneville with a score of 3-1, which propelled them from 5th to 3rd place in the standings. Stoneville, on the other hand, dropped from 3rd to 4th place following this defeat. The standings for the top teams remained unchanged, with CAI Da Squad holding firm at the top position and Starz 1 (Seniors) maintaining their 2nd place.
In the Men’s Division One, Pytonz were able to maintain their perfect record due to the High Flyerz team failing to have enough players for the match. This result solidified Pytonz’s position at the top of the standings, as they increased their number of wins to 7. The standings in this division remained stable, with no changes in the positions of the teams. Stoneville continued to hold the 2nd spot, while Top Ranking Storming Lions stayed in 3rd place. High Flyerz/Phoenix remained at the bottom of the standings, still seeking their first win of the season.
