KRIS BOYD has told Rangers chiefs they must look for another manager to replace Russell Martin.
The Rangers legend reckons the Ibrox board have ‘no other option’ than to wield the axe on the former Southampton boss after another dreadful result at Ibrox.

Rangers crashed to a 1-0 defeat with 10 men in their Europa League opener against Genk in Govan, with former Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu netting his first ever goal at Ibrox – after failing to do so when he was playing in Scotland.
Furious Rangers fans made their feelings clear towards Martin as they called for his axe at full-time.
Loud jeers rang out inside the stadium when the referee blew for half-time as well.
SunSport columnist and Rangers hero Boyd has been critical of under-fire boss Martin in recent weeks as he still waits for his former team to win a game in the league.

He reckons their latest defeat on the European stage HAS to be the last straw.
Discussing the performance on Sky Sports, Boyd said: l”I think a lot of Rangers fans were expecting it to be after the Hearts game because the negativity was there.
“Rangers backed their manager because it is the start of a new project, you might be seen to be not giving up straight away.
“But looking at it right now, there is no other option than to start looking for, not only a new manager, the recruitment needs an overhaul once again.
“I can’t sit here and criticise the recruitment teams who have been there in the past and then look at this one and let them away with it.
“Chermiti was given an opportunity this evening as well. I know Rangers were down to ten men and it becomes difficult for him in the second half, but I never seen anything in the first half that is going to excite me.
“When you are signing that type of player they have to come in and make a difference and it is not happening for Rangers.
“He is the one with a big transfer fee. He is going to carry that but there are others in that team that look absolutely miles off where they need to be.
“Ultimately, Russell Martin is the one that will end up paying the price for it but for me there are other people at the football club that need to be held accountable.”
