LUKE LITTLER claims he is “living rent free” in Martin Schinder’s head.
The teen sensation jokingly made a remark on his Instagram story after being mentioned by the German ace in an online article.
Schindler produced a wonder comeback from 4-1 down to beat William O’Connor 6-4 in their second round encounter at the German Darts Championship on Sunday.
Speaking after the match to Dartsnews, Schindler complimented his rival.
He said: “He started very, very well.
“I took the first leg, and then there wasn’t much coming from me for a while.

“He was absolutely ruthless, three legs in a row with 180s and 140s. You’re just chasing shadows at that point.
“But I knew he couldn’t maintain that level for the whole match – not even Luke Littler could – and he didn’t.”
Littler, who is not playing in the tournament, responded to the comments on his Instagram.
He posted a screenshot of Schindler’s comments and added the caption: “Living rent free up there in that head.”

Schindler had also come to Littler’s defence regarding the crowd issues England suffered in the World Cup held in Germany in mid-June.
The Nuke and Luke Humphries represented England but fell to a shock 8-4 defeat to Germany duo Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko in front of a passionate German crowd in Frankfurt.
He added: “I think it was definitely one of the best atmospheres we’ve had in a World Cup.
“Obviously we have to say that we don’t approve of the whistling and booing.
“For us, we have to say it’s not getting easier for us because our opponents are getting booed or whistled.
“So we still need to go out there and perform and we’ve done that.
“Both Lukes have been struggling as it seems and I think the day is done now for us and we are happy that we won that one.”
