DANNY ROHL has sensationally told Rangers he’s pulling OUT of the running to become the Gers’ next head coach, it’s being reported.
The news comes just days after Steven Gerrard withdrew from the process after a series of talks with Ibrox bosses in London.

And now the Rangers Review are reporting that the German former Sheffield Wednesday coach has taken himself out of the process – leaving Kevin Muscat as the likely next head coach at Ibrox.
Rohl has been a major favourite of Gers bosses – having been spoken to both prior to the appointment of Russell Martin AND when the Gers started to look for his successor.
The former Sheffield Wednesday boss would have added a former Ibrox hero onto his coaching staff if he had been appointed but the report claims that he has reluctantly informed Rangers that he no longer wishes to be considered for the vacancy.
While the move leaves Muscat as the likely last man standing, his situation is complicated by the fact he’s in the throes of a title race with Shanghai Port.

His contract won’t be cheap and Rangers will need to pay a seven-figure compensation package to complete a deal.
It remains to be seen whether a deal can be done which will see Neil McCann arrive to help first team affairs before then, with Dundee Utd set to face Rangers on Saturday.
If it can’t, Steven Smith will be tasked with taking charge of team affairs with Brian Gilmour.
