ADAM IDAH is edging closer to completing his Celtic exit.
The Republic of Ireland international is set to leave Celtic to join Swansea in a deal worth around £6million.
Idah, 24, wasn’t in Brendan Rodgers’ squad for the first Old Firm of the season as Celtic and Rangers battled out a boring 0-0 draw.
The former Norwich hitman has been waiting for his move to get the green light after travelling to Wales on Friday to complete a medical and agree personal terms.
It then looked like his move was hanging in the balance after he returned to Glasgow just hours later, while Celtic hunting for a replacement for the £9m man.
Celtic have been eyeing a deal for Kasper Dolberg to take his place but won’t let Idah leave until they land his successor.

But according to Sky Sports, Idah left Scotland last night again to head back down to Swansea to finalise the transfer.
It’s being claimed that he’s completing the second part of his medical ahead of the proposed switch.
That could mean that Celtic are closing in on a replacement for the 24-year-old.
Key target Dolberg won’t be heading to Glasgow just yet, though, if he is indeed the man who will the No9 shirt at Parkhead.
He’s been named in the Anderlecht squad for their league match champions Union St Gilloise.
Celts boss Rodgers admitted ahead of the clash with Rangers that Idah’s move to Swansea is ‘very close’.
Asked for any progress, he said: “I think it’s still ongoing.
“It’s obviously the club are in talks with Swansea, so obviously not available today. That’s the current situation.”
Idah hasn’t scored for Celtic in four appearances this season.
He hit 20 goals in 53 appearances for the Hoops last term in his first full campaign with the club after spending half a season on loan.
The striker netted nine goals in 19 outings during that loan spell.
