RANGERS want to sign Ryan Naderi and the striker wants to join the club.
But a deal to take the German frontman to Ibrox doesn’t appear to be that simple – even though his current club’s asking price has been met.
SunSport told earlier this week how Rangers had targeted 22-year old Naderi.
The towering striker is playing his trade in the German third tier for Hansa Rostock, where he’s netted eight goals in 17 games this season.
With Naderi having attracted interest from a number of European clubs, it was the Gers who made their move earlier this week.
The Light Blues launched an offer of around £2.6million earlier this week.

It’s also understood that Naderi is keen on making the move to Ibrox.
However, it isn’t proving that simple.
We told you how a deal was stalling due to Hansa Rostock’s stance on the situation.
The club are understood to be willing to hold out until the summer to land a bigger fee and they’re also concerned about letting Naderi leave without bringing in a replacement.

And in a fresh update out of Germany, it’s being claimed that ‘no solution is in sight.
With that in mind, TAG24 are reporting that Naderi has made a major move as he bids to get a move to Ibrox.
They claim that the striker has ‘filed his transfer request’ as he makes his desire to move to Glasgow clear.
The report says Naderi ‘wants to take advantage of this perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity.’
However, Hansa Rostock’s stance remains the same.
Even though the club’s asking price has been met by Rangers, the club is said to be ‘blocking’ negotiations.
The German report says this has the potential to cause a ‘conflict’ should the club deny him the move.
Rangers have brought three players in this transfer window.
With just a matter of days left to go until Monday night’s deadline strikes, Gers boss Danny Rohl confirmed he’s eyeing a new frontman.
He admitted he’s braced for a “crazy” end to the transfer window.
Ahead of the Gers’ clash with Porto tonight, Rohl said: “What I can say is that he is a player for Hansa Rostock and I will not speak about players from other clubs today.
“I have a number in my head of what I feel we need, I think that’s the most important thing.
“Andrew knows it, the recruitment team knows it. I think this is clear.
“The next three or four days will be a little bit crazy.
“There will be some moments where you think you will have a yes, then maybe not.
“But all in all, by the end of the window I think we should have a good number of players ready for the second half of the season.”
