RANGERS new boy Thelo Aasgaard presented organisers with an unusual dilemma for organisers after Norway went goal crazy in their World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
With Man City superstar Erling Haaland banging in FIVE goals and Aasgaard rattling in FOUR in the second period, what exactly should happen when it comes to the traditional honour of walking away with the match ball if you bag a hat-trick?
That’s certainly what social media influencer KSI wondered when he got involved in the comments on Haaland’s Instagram account in the wake of the match.
KSI, part of the Sidemen, asked if the Man City centre-forward would be sharing the match ball with his Norwegian teammate.
And in a sense he was right, because it turns out there’s a first half match ball AND a second half match ball – perhaps used as a spare.
So both Norway goal heroes walked off into the night with a new plaything, as evidenced by an image on Haaland’s Instagram account.

Haaland replied: “Mine 1 half ball Aasgaard second half ball.”
Speaking afterwards, Aasgaard hailed Haaland’s brilliant gesture of handing him the ball to take a penalty on the night.
He told VG: “It’s just an amazing moment, my family were there in the stands. It was a proud moment.
“That just says everything about his (Haaland’s) character, I think we all know it already.
“He’s desperate to score goals so for him to give me a penalty is amazing.
“I knew he was a good guy and I was just very pleased.”
Aasgaard added: “He just said ‘do you want it?’
“So I said ‘yes, of course!'”
