A MAN will stand trial accused of throwing a lit firework into a Celtic bar.
Gary Clark, 24, is alleged to have chucked the missile into Gallagher’s Bar on Glasgow city centre on December 15 2024.

Court papers claim that Clark, of Clarkston, East Renfrewshire, acted with others unknown to form a disorderly crowd.
Clark is alleged to have his face concealed when he allegedly repeatedly blocked the road for moving vehicles.
He is claimed to have struck the windows of Hoops pub Connolly’s in the city centre’s Bell Street as well as Gallagher’s Bar on Howard Street.
Clark is alleged to have smashed windows there and throw a lit firework into the bar.

Clark is further alleged that he engaged in a stand-up fight with Celtic supporters, throw lit fireworks, bottles and similar items.
He is claimed to have challenged Celtic fans to a fight and placed the public in a state of fear and alarm for their safety.
Clark pleaded not guilty to the single charge of breach of the peace at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
A trial will take place in October.
