MANCHESTER UNITED reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle this week.
The Red Devils are understood to be determined to add a striker to their ranks before the transfer window closes.

And Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Isak recently emerged as a target.
United made an enquiry about a potential move, but Isak turned it down.
The 25-year-old currently has his heart set on a move to Liverpool.
However, the reigning Premier League champions had a £110million bid turned down by Newcastle today.
Newcastle value the striker at £150m.
Isak has not joined the rest of his team-mates on the club’s pre-season tour as he looks to force a move.
He is currently training alone at his former club, Real Sociedad.
Man Utd have also expressed an interest in signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

The German club want over £70m for their forward, who was targeted by Arsenal before they signed Viktor Gyokeres last week.
Ollie Watkins has also been mentioned by club chiefs, although they are now believed to be more in favour of signing Sesko.
