Buckleys 3Js delivered a one-sided contest at Swetes when they defeated MIX Up Stars by 148 runs. He was the star performer, hammering an unbeaten 96 with seven fours and seven sixes, well supported by Dequan Martin (54*) and Denley Thomas (34) as 3Js posted 223 for two from just 18 overs. Mix Up Stars could only manage 75 for nine in response, with Zavier Otto (3/16) leading the bowling attack.
At Powells, 300 dominated home side Bullets after amassing 142 for seven from their 30 overs, with Molvin James (38), Zack Thomas (21), and Richard Dyer (20) making significant contributions. In reply, Bullets were dismissed for just 89 in 21 overs, as Jared Roberts (4/30) and James (3/18) shared seven wickets between them to secure a substantial 53-run victory.
At Dredgers, Strictly Business defeated PMS in a closer encounter. Owen Graham‘s unbeaten 36 helped Strictly Business reach 140 for nine, despite Terence Thompson‘s excellent five for 31. PMS were then dismissed for 96, with Melvin Charles claiming impressive figures of five for 22 to secure a 44-run victory.
The women’s competition saw the Female Flyers make light work of the Rockets at Swetes. After restricting Rockets to just 43 for five, Makada Hector (22*) and Terez Parker (12*) guided the Flyers to a comprehensive 10-wicket victory.
At Powells, Bullets edged Potters Uprising Cricket Team by nine runs in a closer contest. Lana Thomas’ unbeaten 33 helped Bullets post 81 for three, before a disciplined bowling effort restricted Potters to 72 for five, despite Jemma Joseph‘s 20.
The scheduled match at Dredgers was affected by rain, with both teams sharing the points.
