New World Rankings Pubished
Wales are 7th, Scotland are 10 as England return to 3rd.
World Netball (WN) has today released the latest WN World Rankings which sees matches played between the last update on the 1st December 2025 until 1st March 2026 added and the annual update carried out to ensure that the rankings reflect the most current form of the international teams.
This annual update removes matches played in the rating period from 28thFebruary 2022 to 28th February 2023 and halves the weighting assigned to matches played between 1st March 2023 and 28th February 2025.
The first change can be seen at 3rd, with England overtaking Jamaica having increased their rating by two to 186 following recent series results and the annual update.
Also in the top 10, Uganda have strengthened their 6th place position, with their rating now 14 higher than Wales’s in 7th and Tonga have moved up to 8th having improved their rating by two to 119, pushing Malawi down to 9th with a rating of 112.
The biggest increase in the WN World Rankings comes for our Netball World Youth Cup 2025 hosts, Gibraltar, who have moved up six places to 20th with an increased rating of 63, whilst Canada and Hong Kong’s movements are just as impressive as they have both jumped five places to 25th and 34th.
Following the annual update, seven teams have dropped off the rankings due to not having played the minimum of eight matches since 1st March 2023. Cook Islands and Maldives only need to play one more match in the next 12 months to re-enter the WN World Rankings, whilst India and USA need to play two, Israel and Chinese Taipei three, and Tanzania four.
