CLUB BRUGGE coach Nicky Hayen watched his side take care of third tier minnows Eendracht Aalst Lede in the Belgian Cup – then broke silence on Celtic’s pursuit of his services.
The 46-year-old is a man in high demand across the continent, and not least in the East End of Glasgow, after swatting Rangers aside 9-1 in Champions League qualifying.


He’s a man with some hinterland, with a spell at lowly Haverfordwest in Wales on his CV – a period where he also made the close acquaintance of former Ibrox gaffer Russell Martin.

He penned a new contract as recently as June and said he was in the dark about interest from the Hoops.
