Stevea Carr was the top scorer for Five Islands with eight points.
Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) and Five Islands Primary were winners in the Mini Boys and Mini Girls divisions of the Cool & Smooth sponsored Ministry of Sports Schools Basketball Competition on Tuesday at the JSC basketball complex.
Competing in the Mini Boys Secondary competition, OCS had the better of Princess Margaret School (PMS) by a 16-11 scoreline. Malic Simms led the scoring with six points while there were four points each from Levi Richards and Ethan Browne. Kevani Whyte led the scoring for PMS.
Meanwhile in the Mini Girls Primary Division, Five Islands Primary had the better of Greenbay Primary 12-5 also at JSC.
Stevea Carr was the top scorer for the winners with eight points while Shalana Powell picked up four points for Greenbay Primary.
