Strictly Business, Bullets and Dredgers were all victorious Sunday in the Men’s 30-Over Softball Competition, while Bullets, Rockets and Female Flyers recorded wins in the female division.
Female Flyers posted an impressive 104 for one in their 15 overs, with Terez Parker (34 not out) and Gaynel O’Garro (28 not out) scoring most of the runs. Makada Hector contributed 22 runs to set up the strong total. Lilieth Joseph was the pick of the Police bowlers, taking one for 21 from her three overs.
Police struggled in reply, managing only 36 for six in their 15 overs. O’garro completed an excellent all-round performance, taking three scalps for seven runs in two overs, supported by Akeda Francis who claimed one wicket for five runs in three overs.

In another match Bullets managed 68 for eight in their 15 overs, with Rachael Greaves (18) and Cheryl Williams (16) providing the main resistance. Louckehl Pelle was economical with the ball, conceding just 12 runs while taking two wickets.
Survivors reached the target on the final ball, also finishing on 68 for eight. Grace Persaud top-scored with 24, while Pelle remained unbeaten on 13. The match was closely contested with both teams finishing on identical scores, but the Survivors’ superior wicket count secured the victory. In the male division, the Mix Up Stars vs Bullets encounter resulted in an automatic victory for Bullets when Mix Up forfeited as they were unable to field the required number of players at the scheduled start of play.
In another match, Goody’s Taxi Service batted first and were restricted to 112 for eight in 28 overs. Molvin James top-scored with 26 runs, supported by Zack Thomas (21) and Veston Lewis (21). The Strictly Business bowling attack was led by Kerry Mentore (1/13), with solid contributions from Kerique Mentore (2-31) and Winston Roberts (2-31).
In reply, Strictly Business chased down the target with ease, reaching 115 for four in just 13 overs. Kim George anchored the innings with an unbeaten 36, while Jevon Howell contributed 33 and Clinton Benjamin added 16. Vernel Isadore was the pick of the bowlers for Goodys, taking two wickets for 30 runs.
Rockets then edged Potters Uprising Cricket Team in a thrilling super over. The regular match ended in a dramatic tie, with both teams scoring exactly 64 runs. Rockets reached 64 for four in their 15 overs, with Kushana David (17) and Valarie Isaac (16) leading the way. Gail Jobe was exceptional with the ball for Potters, taking three scalps for eight runs.
Potters were bowled out for 64 in their 15 overs, with Jobe contributing 11 runs with the bat. Patara Francis (3/5) and Pauline Shaw (2/18) shared the bowling honors for Rockets.
In the decisive super over, Potters managed five runs, but the Rockets held their nerve to score 6 runs and claim a narrow victory.
At Dredgers, the home side posted 167 for seven in 29 overs, powered by an explosive 54 from Mervin Higgins, which included five sixes. Loy Weste (24) and Kurt Douglas (17) provided valuable support. Hughan Tonge was the standout bowler for PMS, claiming four for 16.
PMS fought valiantly in their chase, reaching 160/7 in 24 overs. Hughan Tonge led their batting effort with 32 runs, supported by Walter Carr (21) and Kenny Benjamin (19). Kurt Douglas and Rae Charles were effective with the ball for Dredgers, taking 2 wickets and 1 wicket respectively.
