Board of Education (BoE), led by Danny and Daniel Perez, rallied to a huge 51 points triumph over Fearless Security Services, in the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association’s (ABBA) Cool & Smooth sponsored Business Basketball League on Thursday night to keep their winning run in tack.
Danny led the scoring with 24 points while grabbling five rebounds and dishing five assists. He also had six steals. Daniel followed closely with 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and nine steals. There were also contributions of 18 and 12 points respectively from Xavier Meade and Warren Bogle as Board of Education recorded the massive 101-50 win at the JSC basketball complex.
In a losing effort, Shaquille Kelly top-scored with 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Meanwhile, in the night’s feature clash, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) recorded a comfortable 70-48 victory over Anjo Wholesale. Lindsay McDonald was the chief performer for Transport Board with 15 points. Kedar Clarke assisted with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals while Raymond Dickenson sank 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds all in the winning effort.
Steven Matthew was the top scorer for Anjo Wholesale with 20 points and five rebounds while Orion Seraphine added 10 points to the effort.
Transport Board is back in action on Saturday night when they face Sledge’O Ballers at 7 pm. ACT will take on Anjo Wholesale at 8 pm and Board of Education face H Wright Promotions at 9 pm.
