Members of the public are invited to join the cause and get into the swing of things as LOM Financial sponsors a charity pickleball doubles tournament to support the Central Caribbean Marine Institute.
The event, slated for 27 Sept. from 1-6pm at Pickleball Cayman on Smith Road, promises a day of friendly competition for an important cause.
With entry limited to 60 teams, participants will be divided into beginner and intermediate divisions with prizes being awarded to the top three teams in each division. Every dollar from the $70 team entry fee, along with any additional donations, will go directly to CCMI to support and sustain its research, coral reef restoration and marine education programmes.
Founded in 1998, CCMI is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to protecting the future of coral reefs and promoting healthy ocean ecosystems. Through research, innovative conservation strategies and educational programmes, CCMI remains committed to the fight to save these vital marine habitats.
