On Saturday, Postal Services and NHD Demolition Squad handed out a handful of goals each in the Ministry of Sports Business League Football Competition.Playing atRadio Range Playfield, Postal Services dominated HMP United with a 5-nil victory, with NHD Demolition Squad replicating the same feat over Automotive Art at Golden Grove Playfield.
In other matches, A&B Port Authority delivered a strong 4-0 victory against Cocos Hotel at Keithley Sheppard Recreational Park, while A&B Airport Authority secured a comfortable 3-0 win over ACE Trucking FC at the same venue.
Fresh Acres Enterprise claimed a 3-0 victory over UWI Frigate Bird FC, and CHAPA Warriors edged out Royalton Chic 3-1 in a competitive encounter. APUA Telecoms also recorded a 3-0 win against Villa Tech Enterprise.
Several matches were decided by single goals, demonstrating the competitive nature of the league. The Ministry of Agriculture defeated Macky Enterprise 1-0 at Golden Grove Playfield, while SJDC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Royalton Strikers.
The day featured two draws that showed how evenly matched some teams are. Ministry of Tourism and CMC played out a 1-1 draw at Jennings Playfield, while Galley Bay Ballers shared the points with Sandals in another 1-1 result.
At Keithley Sheppard Recreational Park, Hodges Bay and JH Stingers couldn’t be separated, finishing 0-0 in what proved to be the day’s most defensively minded encounter.
