PRINCESS Kate was all smiles as she posed with the England team after the Women’s Rugby win saw them reach the Quarter finals.
The Princess of Wales was seen supporting the England side against their fixture with Australia in the Women’s Rugby World Cup on Saturday.
The Red Roses kicked off against Australia at the American Express Stadium with Kate in the stands cheering on John Mitchell’s side.
The Princess was photographed in the stands watching on as England ran riot against Australia, going on to win 47-7.
After the game, Kate posed for a group photo and shook hands with the players in a post on her and Wills’ Instagram account.
The post was captioned: “Well done @redrosesrugby! A great result against Australia and on to the Quarter Finals.”
Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales was seen in the stands as the Welsh Women’s National Rugby Union Team took on Fiji in the group stage.
Wills was spotted at Sandy Park in Exeter before the two sides kicked off just before 3pm, with Wales going on to narrowly lose 28-25.
The future King also spoke to the players after the game and was spotted hugging one of the stars following their defeat.
Another social media post read: “Commiserations to Welsh Rugby Union. You fought hard and made the nation proud.”
Neither Wales or Fiji had won a match going into the game with fans on the edge of their seats for the fixture.
Both the Prince and the Princess of Wales were all smiles today as they cheered on the two sides in different stadiums.
The prince is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) and the princess holds a similar position with the Rugby Football Union (RFU).
Earlier in the day, the official Prince and Princess of Wales X account posted a photo of Kate enjoying the match.
It was captioned: “Cheering on @RedRosesRugby against Australia in the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Brighton.”
It comes just days after Kate showed off her new style on a trip to the national History Museum with her husband.
Kate, Patron of the Natural History Museum, appeared to be sporting brighter blonder haircut in her last public appearance.
She shielded kids on a school trip from torrential rain with an umbrella in a heartwarming moment.
Kate was today seen sporting the same bright hairstyle at the Woman’s World Cup match.
Coming off the back of a draw with the USA, Australia took on England with Kate watching on.
In England’s impressive win against Samoa on Saturday, August 30, Jess Breach scored a hat-trick.
She also registered her 50th international try, while Helena Rowland scored 27 points.
It marked the most points scored by any England player in a Women’s Rugby World Cup game.
The Red Roses have won both their matches of the World Cup so far, scoring a total of 161 points and conceding just 10.
Kate looked hopeful for another England side victory with the team winning all seven of their previous meetings with Australia.
The side were well prepared to dazzle the Princess after a successful run up to the fixture.
Kate and Will’s most recent appearance at a museum was their first engagement since the summer break.
The pair met with school pupils who had been taking part in classes aimed at connect with nature and help boost biodiversity in urban areas.
It came after Kate had opened up on how getting back to nature has helped with her cancer recovery.
