DANNY ROHL hailed set-piece guru Scott Fry after Rangers moved into second place behind Hearts.
Emmanuel Fernandez and Nico Raskin scored as the Ibrox men beat Aberdeen 2-0 to go above Celtic.
Both goals came from first-half corners and Gers boss Rohl paid tribute to set-piece coach Fry’s influence.
He said: “It’s very important. Scott is doing a fantastic job.
“We made a good choice and it’s not just about the content, he’s also a good human.
“He’s been a good addition to my coaching team and we are very happy with him.

“When the games are tight, you need this and we scored two from set-plays.
“You saw a Rangers team that can dominate the other team.
“We were very aggressive and that is key for us. We want to be on the front foot.
“We could have maybe scored more and at 2-0, it’s always dangerous.
“But I am happy with the result in a tough game.
“We deserved to win and we played some nice football.
“In the last 15 minutes, we were a bit empty and you could see that we had a busy schedule.
“But I am proud of my group to have four wins in a row now.
“Now we have one more game this weekend before the Scottish Cup tie.”
Fernandez headed Rangers ahead in 11 minutes and Raskin doubled the advantage before the break.
The Belgian said: “Wins breed more confidence in the squad.
“We are taking it game by game and we are trying not to look too far ahead.
“We want to keep the momentum going and it always gives you confidence when you get closer to the top.
“But we now have a difficult trip to Aberdeen this weekend so we need to keep going.”
Connor Barron claimed two assists with deadly corner delivery and reckons Gers’ hard work is paying off.
Barron said: “We have worked a lot on it since Scott came in and it’s nice to see them coming off in games.
“It was a good win and it was nice to keep our form going. Our sole focus is on winning games,
“The manager has put trust in everyone and we are starting to look like a real team now.”
Aberdeen interim boss Peter Leven was surprisingly joined in the dugout by sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel.
And the stand-in Pittodrie gaffer bemoaned his side’s decision-making in the final third.
Leven said: “Lutz is a football guy and is another person to bounce ideas off.
“I am really disappointed in the goals we lost but I saw a team that fought.
“We had good chances to score goals and the end product and composure was missing.
“I felt the boys did well but I wanted to come here and win, or get something.
“We had clearer chances than Rangers did and the boys kept going right until the end.”
“We will have another game plan for this weekend and we will have more time to prepare.”
