DANNY ROHL has walked into a multitude of problems both on and off the pitch for Rangers.
So much so that he has been set up to FAIL, according to one pundit.
The former Sheffield Wednesday boss took over from Russell Martin last month after a three-week recruitment process.
It hasn’t exactly led to an upturn in results on a consistent basis however, with Gers winning only two of Rohl‘s five games in charge.
The Light Blues lost 3-1 to Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at the weekend and last night’s 2-0 defeat to Roma in the Europa League was their fourth in that competition this season (and the second under Rohl).
Meanwhile protests against club chiefs Patrick Stewart and Kevin Thelwell continue in earnest, as the board led by new chairman Andrew Cavenagh feels the heat.

CBS Sports Golazo pundit and former USA international star Charlie Davies believes a job as big as Rangers came too soon for someone like Rohl, who is now “in over his head” at Ibrox – and that if he fails then it is on the board.
He said: “Danny Rohl is in over his head. The unfairness is maybe the job came too soon. It’s the fault of Rangers’ ownership.
“When you’re saying ‘Danny Rohl, come in, we’re gonna hire you’… He has no experience managing players at this level, he has no experience winning trophies.
“He’s set up to fail.”
Fellow pundit and ex-West Ham and Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker questioned whether Rohl has the presence and arrogance to succeed at a club like Rangers.
He added: “When you manage a club like Rangers, you have to have something about you. That arrogance, that presence.
“He’s going to have senior players who have played so many games at high levels, and they’ll be the ones watching training and listening to what he’s said to the players.
“It’ll be them who tell their close friends and family what he’s like.”
