A former Rangers star has been named the new manager of LEBANON.
The defender won six major honours as an Rangers player, including three titles in a row, a Scottish Cup and two League Cups.

But his time at the club ended in ignominy when he was sent off in his last game for Rangers against Malmo in a Champions League exit in 2011.
Madjid Bougherra signed for Lekhwiya in Qatar and eventually retired five years later after a spell in Greek football with Aris.
His coaching career saw him take charge of UAE club Fujairah and Qatari outfit Al-Markhiya before he took charge of Algeria’s A team, which is for players only made up from domestic clubs.
Now he’s off to Beirut to take charge of Lebanon as the country’s new manager.

Lebanon are currently ranked 109th in the Fifa list.
Their bid to reach this year’s World Cup was ended at the second round stage of Asian qualifying.
The 43-year-old, who won 70 caps and played in two World Cups for Algeria – will take charge for the first time against Yemen in March.
It’s a high stakes match with a place in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup up for grabs.
A draw would be enough for Lebanon, who currently top their qualifying group, to seal a spot but defeat would see them pipped by their opponents.
Meanwhile, Rangers target Ryan Naderi has reportedly submitted a transfer request as he bids to get his move to Ibrox.
The Gers have made a £2.6million offer for the Hansa Rostock striker but the German club aren’t keen on letting him leave.
Naderi, however, is understood to be keen on moving to Glasgow.
Rangers boss Danny Rohl has admitted he’s expecting a “crazy” end to the transfer window.
It closes this coming Monday.
