RANGERS hero Barry Ferguson is urging all Gers fans to get behind new head coach Danny Rohl.
The ex-Sheffield Wednesday boss was confirmed as Russell Martin’s successor after two weeks of twists and turns in their search to appoint a new manager.

Fans are fuming at the way the recruitment process has been handled after Steven Gerrard and Kevin Muscat turned down the Light Blues.
And there has been a lukewarm response from some supporters to the appointment of Rohl on a two-and-a-half year deal, who had withdrawn from the process last week.
Ferguson though insists that’s old news now and they need to focus on getting behind the head coach and the team.
Speaking on the Go Radio football podcast, he said: “I was listening to him on Sky and he was saying Rangers is built on hard work, unity and success.

“He’s saying all the right things and you’ve got to give him the opportunity.
“You’ve got to give him the chance and the games are going to come thick and fast for him.
“So he’s got the game on Thursday night against Brann and then he’s got the home game on Sunday against Kilmarnock.
“Listen, if he gets off to a good start and he gets a good result away from home in Europa League and then gets that first home win against Kilmarnock, then things will look brighter and the fans will certainly get behind him.”
Rohl has coached at RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and the Germany national team before becoming the youngest manager in the EnglishFootball League at Sheffield Wednesday.
The 36-year-old showed at the English Championship side he has a clear way he wants to play, with high pressing and high tempo.
But he showed he is not afraid to adapt if required, which Ferguson believes is important.
He added: “I know you have a certain way that you want to play the game, but at times that can’t happen. So you’ve got to come up with a plan B.
“And I’ve heard similar where he likes to play the ball on the ground and play out from the back. But if that’s not going to be achievable, he’ll go back to front.
“He understands he needs to win games as quickly as possible.
“And if that happens, the Rangers fans and the Rangers supporters who go to Ibrox will get right behind them.”
