RANGERS have confirmed their initial plans for pre-season with two friendlies lined up and a training camp based at the home of England’s national team.
It is less than a month before the Ibrox side return to pre-season on June 23, and it is set to be a hectic time for the club.
The new American takeover is nearing completion and the search for a new manager is still ongoing.
SunSport revealed Russell Martin is set to make a fresh pitch to become Ibrox boss this week, with Steven Gerrard and Davide Ancelotti also in the frame.
Whoever ends up getting the job will not have a great deal of time to settle in before the start of the new season.
The first friendly match takes place against Club Brugge on Sunday, July 6, kick off at Ibrox is at 2pm.
The Belgian league runners-up could be potential Champions League play-off opponents for the Gers.
The squad then head down to Burton-on-Trent for a training camp at the National Football Centre at St George’s on July 7.
They’ve also confirmed they will play Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough in a friendly at home on Saturday July 26.
It’ll be the Championship side’s first match at Ibrox in almost 20 years when they were beaten 1-0 in a friendly in 2006.
Fixtures for the new Premiership season will be released on June 20 with the season beginning on August 2.
