RANGERS are weighing up a stunning transfer move for England international Conor Coady, it’s being claimed.
Coady, who has 10 caps for England, played 22 games in the Premier League last season as Leicester City were relegated back to the Championship.
He previously spent eight years at Wolves where he became captain before moving to Leicester for a £7.5 million fee in 2023.
Martin was strongly linked with the Foxes management role before finally accepting the chance to replace Philippe Clement in the top job at Ibrox.
And now the Daily Record are claiming that he could turn to the 32-year-old, who has played in midfield and is comfortable in possession, to help play his preferred tactic of building play out from midfield.
Sporting director Kevin Thelwell hinted at Martin’s unveiling yesterday that the Gers would be looking for experienced and callow players to join their squad.
