MARCUS RASHFORD received a standing ovation by Barcelona fans amid his impressive loan stint from Manchester United.
Rashford, 28, was unceremoniously shipped out of Old Trafford to Barca in the summer after falling out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim, who also dumped him at Aston Villa for the second half of last season.
The star forward struggled at Man Utd the last couple of seasons but he has turned a corner with the Blaugrana, where he will spend the rest of the campaign.
The England international shone bright during the Catalan giants’ 3-1 victory over Elche in LaLiga at Montjuic Olympic Stadium.
Rashford scored Barcelona‘s third and put together another impressive performance for Hansi Flick’s side.
So much so that the United loanee received a warm applause from standing home fans on 74 minutes when he came off for Robert Lewandowski.
