RIO FERDINAND claimed Arsenal were ‘lucky’ to be top of the Premier League table following their 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.
The ex-United star, 47, gleefully reacted to his former side snatching a late three points away from home via a live stream on his YouTube channel.

Ferdinand streamed alongside frustrated Arsenal supporter Joel Beya just minutes after the final whistle at the Emirates.
The Gunners remain four points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table despite recent inconsistent form.
Reacting to the result, Ferdinand said: “You lot are just lucky, man. Arsenal are lucky. You lot are so lucky that everyone else is so s*** and inconsistent.”
He proceeded to say that title rivals City are “inconsistent and going through transition’ to the point where ‘they’ve bought a new team basically”.

The six-time Premier League champion added: “Liverpool have gone and spent four, five hundred million pounds and gone backwards.”
He then concluded: “If anyone gets within three or four points of you boys, I worry for you.”
Beya fumed : “We lose against Man United. We draw against Nottingham Forest, we draw against Liverpool.
“We should be clear. We should have been like 12 points clear! I’m genuinely frustrated.”

Beya, worried about his side’s lack of goals scored from open play, went on: “We’re barely scoring goals. (Leandro) Trossard is our top goal scorer in the Premier League. He’s (only) scored five goals!”
Ferdinand later branded Arteta ‘”cautious”, and claimed: “Everything’s a jab. I ain’t seen the right hand haymaker.”
During the stream, Ferdinand also responded to claims that this Gunners team would beat his United side from 2008, a debate recently sparked by Theo Walcott.
Unimpressed, the former England star called the take “blasphemy”.
Despite this, Ferdinand DID back Arsenal to get over the line in the title race, adding that the achievement would take them to a “new level”.
