National striker Nafisa Quashie came close to her best figures of nine individuals goals in a game when, on Tuesday, she recorded a double-haul (8 goals) to lead the Antigua Girls High School (AGHS) to a crushing eight-nil win over the All Saints Secondary School (ASSS) in the Under-16 Girls Division of the Schools Football Competition.
Quashie, the daughter of former national midfielder Lennie Quashie and Police Superintendent Louisa Benjamin-Quashie, had goals in minutes 2, 3, 15, 20, 22, 27, 44 and 48 in the one-sided affair as AGHS opened their 2025 campaign of the Cool & Smooth/Joma Caribbean sponsored competition on a confident note.

The performance is the biggest individual effort across all divisions so far this year and also puts the AGHS player as the leading scorer also across all formats.
The young Quashie had, in 2024, netted nine times against ABICE, now Harrison Center.
Also on Tuesday, defending champions Princess Margaret School (PMS), blanked Jennings Secondary School (JSS) 4-0.
Jkayla Bellot led the charge with a brace, scoring in minutes 9 and 15. Gimel Samuel had given PMS the advantage in the second minute while Keishorna Henry made it two-nil in the fifth minute.
Meanwhile, Kengique Armstrong scored twice as Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) beat St Mary’s Secondary School (SMSS) two-nil.
