JIMMY THELIN could walk into a new job in Australia after the axed ex-Aberdeen boss was lined up to take charge of Western Sydney Wanderers.
And his former No.2 at Pittodrie, Swedish countryman Christer Persson, accepted he had no complaints at being sacked by the Dons.

Thelin and Persson were relieved of their duties after Aberdeen’s latest defeat at Falkirk last weekend, just seven months after they had guided them to their first Scottish Cup triumph in 35 years.
Now Thelin has emerged as a serious contender for a job Down Under, with the Western Sydney Wanderers’ current manager, Alen Stajcic, on the brink of being fired by the A-League club.
Thelin was also linked with an immediate return to Sweden with AIK.
Meanwhile, Thelin’s assistant manager Persson has broken his silence in an interview in his homeland after the axe fell at Aberdeen.
