The Ministry of Sports Business League Football officially launched on Saturday with 13 exciting matches featuring teams from various businesses and organizations. Sandals dominated the day with an impressive 7-0 victory over Automotive Art, establishing themselves as early favorites, while other notable results included HMP Oasis United’s 3-1 win against A&B Airport Authority and Ministry of Tourism’s 3-1 triumph over Fresh Acres. The competition showcased strong competitive balance with several close matches, as JH Stingers and UWI Frigate Bird FC drew 1-1, SVRS and Macky Enterprise played to a 0-0 stalemate, and Galley Bay Ballers provided drama with a thrilling 3-2 victory over APUA Head Office.
Other results on the opening day saw SVRS play to a nil-all draw with Macky Enterprise and the same result for the match between Hermitage Bay and Cocos. ACE Trucking lost 0-3 to Skytiger Services, while Postal Services and CHAPA played out to a one-all draw. There were 2-1 triumphs for Royalton Strikers over PW Asphalt, APUA Telecoms over APCMOL and Agriculture over CMC. Blue Waters enjoyed a 3-1 victory over the NHD Demolition Squad.
