FCSB are set to face sanctions from UEFA after their fans were reported for racism after their Europa League win against Aberdeen.
The Dons lost 3-0 in Romania to Steaua and the Scottish Cup winners will now play in the Europa Conference League instead.
But they are now sweating on a possible fine and partial stadium closure after they were reported to European football‘s governing body for racist chants by their supporters against Romani people.
Steaua fans chanted ‘ Death to the Gypsies’ at the end of the game and it was noted in the delegate’s report after he was alerted to it by campaigners against racism.
Their own stadium announcer demanded the fans stop the chant two weeks ago in a derby against Rapid Bucharest and Uefa has sanctioned them in the past for the same reason.
Last year, they were fined £20,000 and forced to close several sections of their ground for a match against LASK Linz.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen last night learned their Conference League fate after their fixtures for the competition were announced.
It didn’t make for great reading for Jimmy Thelin’s men as they were handed statistically the unluckiest draw.
The Dons will take on Shakhtar Donetsk, Sparta Prague, Strasbourg, AEK Athens, AEK Larnaca and Noah.
Their Euro foes FCSB were given a draw which isn’t much more difficult in the Europa League.
They’ll face Go Ahead Eagles, Young Boys, Bologna, Basel, Red Star Belgrade and Feyenoord, Dinamo Zagreb and Fenerbahce.
