FORMER Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke is at the centre of a bizarre episode after he was officially declared as a missing person by a Dutch council…despite sealing a £2.5 million summer move to Braga.
The Swedish international defender was at Celtic for two years, although he spent last season on loan to Twente Enschede in the Netherlands.
He moved to Portugal in the summer with Braga and has already played nine games for them.
However, that appears to have passed by the local Enschede municipality, which has been widely ridiculed in the Netherlands because they have claimed he is a missing person.
Lagerbielke apparently failed to tell the authorities that he was leaving the Dutch city.
And they placed an official notice in the local newspaper declaring the 25-year-old on a list of missing persons, along with the last date he was spotted in the Netherlands .. the same day he was transferred to Braga.

They stated: “The municipality has carried out extensive investigations into where these people live.
“This shows that we do not know where they are now.
“Therefore, they are being removed as residents and are listed as missing persons.”
