THE rumour mill is in overdrive as Celtic fans debate who will be their next manager.
Several gaffers have been linked with the job after Brendan Rodgers resigned on Monday and was subsequently slaughtered by Dermot Desmond in the aftermath.

And fans have locked horns on social media over who they believe should be the man to take over from Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney on a permanent basis.
Ange Postecoglou is the popular choice among supporters, while SunSport understands the Hoops are considering Kieran McKenna.
Other names linked with the job include Nicky Hayen, Kjetil Knutsen, Craig Bellamy, Robbie Keane and Damien Duff.
But perhaps the wildest suggestion comes from a celebrity Celtic supporter who has tipped an ex-Rangers player AND manager contender for the Parkhead hot-seat.

Four-time snooker world champion John Higgins has bizarrely claimed that Kevin Muscat will become the new Celtic manager.
Higgins, 50, knows the Shanghai Port boss well having been his next-door neighbour when he played for Rangers between 2002 and 2003.
The two sport stars have kept in touch since and Higgins revealed live on the radio this morning that he was hoping to catch up with him in China – before claiming Muscat will head back to Scotland to manage his favourite team.
Speaking on the talkSPORT breakfast show this morning, Higgins was asked by Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil who he’d like to see become the new Hoops gaffer.
He replied: “I’m on the way out to Shanghai, and I hope to go and have a coffee with an old next-door neighbour of mine from when he played with Rangers.
“And I heard that it could be Muscat, he could be coming to Celtic. There’s one for you. I heard he pulled out (from Rangers) because he was wanting to stay in China.
“And obviously Martin and Shaun are in, and they might be waiting on Muscat. So who knows.”
It would be an astonishing twist as Muscat was on the verge of joining Rangers less than a fortnight ago.
He was set to replace Russell Martin at Ibrox before the deal dramatically collapsed in the final stages of talks.
It proved a hugely embarrassing episode for the Ibrox club — only days before they unveiled Danny Rohl as their new boss.
